A miserable season on the shores of Lake Erie has gotten worse, as the Cleveland Browns suffered yet another major injury on defense late in their loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Defensive tackle Shaun Rogers was blocked into a teammate with under four minutes remaining, injured his leg, and was carted off the field according to a report in the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Strong safety Kerry Rhodes has been benched by New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan and will be replaced in the starting lineup by Eric Smith, according to a report in the Newark Star-Ledger.
